Candle Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Burn the candle on a level fire-resistant surface.
Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn.
Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts which can cause sooting or rapid, uneven burning.
The first time you light the candle, burn until the wax has melted and pooled to the edge of the jar.
Keep wax pool clear of matches and debris.
Do not move or touch a burning candle or touch the candle when the wax is still hot.
Do not burn for longer that four hours at a time.
It is better to snuff out the candle than to blow it out.
Stop burning the candle when at least 5mm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.
Please note our refills are not stand alone candles or pillar candles but are intended specifically for refills for our jars.
How to refill your candle
How to refill your candle
When the wax in your candle has burned down to 5mm its time for a refill!
Place your jar in a heatproof dish that has around and inch of recently boiled water in it.
Let the jar sit for a few minutes until the wax has started to melt.
Use a spatula to loosen the wax and scoop it out into the bin along with the remnants of the wick.
Wash your jar in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
Unwrap your refill, remove the small wick sticker from the base then pop your candle into the jar.
Enjoy your newly refilled candle.
